HBM Fund Services is lead by a group of well experienced and determined individuals:

 Herman Behr  CEO and Principal 

Herman Behr has had a long and distinguished career in the financial services sector, which includes founding and managing HBM Group, e-Management and New Haven e-Zone. Herman has over 27 years of experience in the financial services sector. Herman holds a MBA degree of the Rotterdam School of Management of the Erasmus University. He has also been active in various professional and community organizations. Some of his functions past and present include:

• Chairman of the board of the Curaçao International Financial Services Association (CIFA),
  
• Chairman of the Curaçao Chamber of Commerce & Industry,
  
• Chairman of the Supervisory board of OBNA Bank, N.V., the development bank of the Netherlands Antilles.
  
• Chairman of the supervisory board of the University of the Netherlands Antilles (UNA);
  

 Herman Oosten  COO and Principal 

Herman Oosten has over 20 years of fund administration experience, most recently as Managing Director of Equity Fund Services in Curaçao, Netherlands Antilles.
Previous experience was with ABN AMRO in various roles within the organization overseeing fund administration for the Asset Management, Investment Funds and Trust groups.
He holds a degree in Economics and Business Law from the Hogeschool Holland in Amsterdam.
Herman is assisted by 4 experienced administrators who are responsible for the day-to-day operation of their client portfolios’.

 Robert Schaeffer  Head of Business Development and Principal 

Robert Schaeffer brings over 20 years of marketing sales and business development experience to the firm. Prior to joining HBM Fund Services he was responsible for the establishment of the US Fund Services Group for Equity Trust.
Robert also held the position of Marketing Director for the Financial Services Practice at Eisner, LLP, New York, where he was responsible for the fund administration group.
Before that, he was Director of Business Development at Rothstein Kass & Co in New Jersey and also served as Business Development Manager at KPMG Peat Marwick. Robert holds a Bachelor of Art from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst.

 Raoul Behr  Legal & Compliance Director 

Raoul Behr is the Legal & Compliance Director of HBM Fund Services, overseeing the legal and compliance support staff. Furthermore, he is also the COO of HBM Group, e-Management and New Haven e-Zone. Raoul joined HBM Group in 1998, first in our Amsterdam office and then in our Curaçao office. He holds a Bachelors’ degree in Economics & Management from Northwood University in West Palm Beach, Florida.
